MERIDIAN, Idaho (CBS2) — Vertical View has been selected to host one of four lead and speed competitions in the 2023 North American Cup Series Sept. 22 - 24, according to a recent news release.
USA Climbing (USAC) and Climbing Escalade Canada (CEC), the two governing bodies of competition climbing in the United States and Canada, have partnered to create the North American Cup Series (NACS).
“NACS allows athletes from the Americas the opportunity to compete at an elite level and develop outside of the World Cup circuit,” explains USA Climbing.
Tyson Gray, founder and co-owner of Vertical View Climbing Gym, states, “Our vision for Vertical View is to bring world-class climbing to Idaho so this is a dream come true for us.
