Doris Hilda Obituary, Death Cause – The years 1920 through 2023 are the ones that Doris Hilda Adams claims to be her own, and she claims ownership of those years. On the Sunday, October 8, 2023, at the age of 103, passed away quietly in the Columbia Forest Long Term Care facility. Doris was brought into this world in Granby, which is located in the region of Quebec in Canada. This is the city where she has spent her entire life. Dominion Textiles in Montreal was her place of employment for the bulk of her life; she began working there after completing both high school and secretarial college. Her tenure at Dominion Textiles spanned the majority of her life.
During her whole time working in Montreal, she remained a resident of that city. Her work at that company occupied the majority of her adult life up until that point in time. She made the purposeful decision to move to Ontario when she was in her 80s so that she could be closer to her family and the friends she had made in that location. This allowed her to spend more time with both groups of people. Aunt Kenneth Adams (Linda) of Wellesley Island, New York; aunt of Sharyn Andrechuk (Scott) of Fergus, Ontario; aunt of Carol McLean (Chris and Ron White predeceased) of Port Hope, Ontario; aunt of Kenneth Adams (Linda) of Wellesley Island, New York.
In addition, she is the aunt of a huge number of nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews who are located in the United Kingdom, Ontario, Pennsylvania, and British Columbia respectively. Her two parents, Edwin and Ethel Adams, as well as four of her older siblings—Lionel (Rose), Ethel Reynolds (Llewellyn), Keyworth (Anne), and Percival and Maurice—had already passed away before she was born. Her grandparents also went away before she was born. Before she was born, both of her father’s parents as well as her paternal grandfather had passed away. The time has arrived to figure out whether or not the cremation procedure is finished with all of its steps.
In the future, there is going to be an event that is going to be known as a Celebration of Life, and the only people who will be invited to attend will be members of the individual’s immediate family. Instead of sending flowers or other traditional tokens of condolence, the family requests that you consider making a donation to any charitable organization of your choosing in their honor. Her family would like to take this opportunity to express their gratitude to each and every member of the staff at Columbia Forest Long Term Care (Dickson House) for their thoughtfulness and compassionate care throughout the course of the three years that she was a resident there, and in particular during the week that she spent there as her last.
In particular, they would like to highlight the week that she spent as her final week at the facility.
