The magazine Soaps in Depth confirms Kristen has been recast but no announcement of who the replacement is yet. They say another former actress from Y&R May take the role. So there you have it. Fans of the show are angry as fuck. Eileen is beloved.

SID says that the show was in dire need of Kristen for its storyline and had no other choice. Oh well. I’m sorry but Eileen owns that fucking role. I hope when she becomes available again they fire this other bitch.

I found his reel, both competitive, yet rather hilarious, because it includes the rather lengthy, homoerotic scene where Ben's on top of Will choking him and they're both sweating and grunting. Not much acting going on in that particular scene, especially on his part, since he's in the passive, bottom position.

At the Emmy reception on Thursday, Ron seemed especially interested in the status of Beemer's legs.

Soap acting is hard. They do something like 80 -120 pages a day. Now they don't have time to rehearse and they don't get director's notes. So a lot of actors' tics and crutches end up on screen. Bill Hayes gave an interview were he said in the old days they would rehearse the show at least 5 times before they ever rolled tape. We're lucky that we get the decent performances that we do get, tics and all.
